114 views and one guess...Hmmm. I find that pretty funny because sometimes someone posts a picture of a nondescript tree or a single rock in these threads and people get it in no time flat!

Let's narrow it down...the lake I've come from is only one metre higher than the lake I'm about to embark upon. Both lakes have animal names. Now that I've given a hint, you have to name BOTH lakes. [insert evil laugh]
And they are west of a line bisecting the park north-south.

Huh, must not be a popular spot among forum users. I once posted a pic from the same portage on WiA and no one ventured a guess in the first 24 hours, nor got it right until the clues kind of gave it away. But I'm unimpressed with my own memory, I don't have a recollection of the portage being that nicely graded, at either end.

It was September, so it may be more of a case that the water is low, exposing more of the flats in the bay. Sandy flats, though.
