Radiant L Via Wendigo L

Hi Folks,

Planning a trip into Radiant L area entering/exiting park via Wendigo L. Could someone kindly comment on water levels / current speeds along the North R section (again going in both directions along North R)? This would be for either a May or September trip.

Many thanks in advance :-)

Re: Radiant L Via Wendigo L

I've done it in August and no issues with water level and current wasn't particularly noticeable.

If you haven't left yet, that route is a chip shot, and very scenic. Easy to traverse in all seasons. And the current is a non issue at any time. Bring a fishing pole and have fun

Re: Radiant L Via Wendigo L

My brother and I did a down and back in mid-July. We base camped on Clamshell with day trips down to Radiant and surrounding areas. Confirming no issues with the route / portages down and back. Per Swift Fifteen, Excellent fishing on Clamshell, Shoal, Sandy Bay and up the Petawawa for bass and walleye. (Struck out on Radiant though)
PS Not this past July.  It's been a few years now
PPS. Lots of relics / history to explore on the bottom end of Radiant as well
