Might be a strange question.
I normally paddle for an ice-out trip where I'd book a site for a few days and decompress but this year, an injury may make that undoable. I was considering instead booking a site on the north loop of the Western Uplands out of Rain for several days, maybe Islet or Brown lakes.
My question is whether this would interfere with people who are doing the whole loop who really need to plan their daily mileage or if it's not a problem in the minds of the regular backpackers.
Probably won't be a problem since I won't end up booking until that week so most people planning to go would already have reservations but I wanted people's opinions.

Book it and don't worry about someone who didn't get their steps in. The Park is for everyone regardless of your/their plans. You do you and let others worry about themselves. I can guarantee you no one, NO ONE, is thinking about you while their hiking through there.
Good luck, and I hope you're on the mend soon!

FYI the northern site on Brown is wonderful. The southern one not so much.

I found that even in the height of summer the 2 longest loops are pretty quiet- most people can only do a 2-3 day trip because of other needs like work, childcare etc, and maybe only 10% actually go as far as Rain- most go to Maple-leaf and Maggie and around the first loop to Guskewau and out
