Anyone done this bushwhack recently? We are looking at it as part of our spring trip. Wondering what the off-road parts are like. And what the road parts are like too I guess.

Did it in 2023. Going in that direction it's pretty simple.There is a bit of a hill to contend with coming out of East Galipo. Hang a right on the road. It's a decent condition pretty flat logging road. Take your 2nd left towards Little Canoe. When you see little Canoe follow a fainter old logging road towards the lake until it peters out. Or just bushwhack. It's downhill and hardwood, so just walk towards the big blue blob. I imagine it could be trickier going the other way.
On that same trip we bushwhacked from Pen, to Chantigus and Smedleyco/Smedleyco Creek to the Galipo River between Harry and Welcome. That was an interesting detour!
