This one was taken from a campsite quite north of 60 in 2020. We had to hunt for the firepit and benches which were swallowed by the vegetation shown in the photo. Aptly labelled 'Terribly Overgrown Campsite' on Maps by Jeff. Fortunately, we were just exploring the area and had not actually booked the site. My apologies for the photo orientation - my tech skills are not improving with age....

Not on the Nipissing - the greater north beckons...

There are two entrances to this lake, one of which really requires using the brain.

You got it! The lake itself isn’t bad, but unless you sleep in a hammock I have no idea how you could overnight here.

Corbeau Lake is north of North River Lake straddling the park boundary, but where is West Corbeau?

If you travel straight up Cedar and through Hurdman Lake, a series of small waterways and portages gets you to West Corbeau. We found it to be an interesting (and very quiet) part of the park.

Yeah, I should have known that. I've traveled from Brain to Stretch and return as a day trip, but not to West Cobeau.

Lol my visit to that site in early 2014 is the reason that note is in the map. One of the worse I've ever come across.
