I also would like to see how this plays out... love a good adventure off the beaten path!
It also makes me want another coffee, mine is cold and nearly empty currently.
Thanks in advance!

Looking forward to reading about the rest of your adventure. I seem to recall Google Maps showing me a route through the logging roads in the park one time. This is what would happen to me and my clapped out Kia Sedona with a canoe on the roof rack if I would've/could've taken the route.
Looking forward to reading about the rest of your journey! Thanks for sharing it!

Very good story telling... waiting on the next part...

Just for laughs I asked Google Maps to show me a route from the town of Madawaska to Achray and it still showed the route Eoin was trying to use through the interior of Algonquin that timewise wasn't much different than the route that would actually get you to Achray. I thought after a number of well publicized incidents where people were stranded after taking recommended backcountry routes that Google would have cleaned up their system by now.

Why do I feel like I'm about to be sold something?

Right?
I gotta be honest, this whole thing sounds like ChatGPT meets google maps. Just feels disingenuous somehow.

Hilarious...I was thinking the final post would be "order my book to read the rest of the story"!!!
Are we jaded or is it a healthy degree of skepticism?

It's absolutely clear that he is playing with us. For what purpose has yet to be revealed. Perhaps it's a con; perhaps it is all fiction; we'll see. Or maybe not.

For So far we have eight installments of driving a car in too far, snapping off a mirror out of reluctance to back up, and then backing out. I'm not sure I have the patience to go through multiple installments of "disturbing sights".
On the other hand, things usually slow down on AA during the winter months (until we decide to start predicting ice out and express confusion/concern over the reservation system), so for now it gives us something to do.

I suspect this is about to become a very anti-logging story tbh..

Or perhaps hunters harvesting a moose

Meh. This story, or whatever this is, could have been covered in a few paragraphs. At first I was interested but it's been dragged out so long now I'm only tuning in for everyone's comments! LOL
Please don't be discouraged by the comments. Keep telling the story. I'm eager to hear what happens next!

I’m predicting ice out for April 35th and I think the reservation system should go to a site specific model, but only on Tuesdays. Also, it shouldn’t apply to me.
