Re: WIA 548

Eustache?

EDIT
A lurker has suggested "Ain't no way it's Eustache!"
I retract that guess and pose,

Big Trout?

Re: WIA 548

It is not Shirley, Eustache, nor Big Trout.
Eustache may be the closest guess so far, but it's a long way from here to Eustache. (And I don't have access to a map to confirm if it is the closest, so this may be an even worse hint than I think it is)

It is not North Tea.
We're (@Maseo, my son, and I) are in a canoe, facing (roughly) east.

Re: WIA 548

It is not White Trout, Lavieille, nor Joe Lake.
Lavieille is now the closest guess.

Re: WIA 548

Reminded of a " Lake with no Name " off of Catfish ?

Re: WIA 548

It's nothing tricky like that. This lake has a clearly assigned name on the "Friends of Algonquin" map.
There are official 'routes' through the lake.  Catfish and the "lake with no name" are further away from this lake than Lavieille.

Re: WIA 548

It is a really nice looking lake, but we were just passing through the one time I've visited.  In hindsight we should have booked there and stayed for the day!
