Not Dickson or Big Trout. Much smaller lake than Big Trout.

yeah, not much north of Kiosk, although I could have picked farther west.
You already ruled out south of 60, so there goes Kingscote off my list too. :-)

West of Whitson, south of Kiosk, north of Kingscote, smaller than Big Trout and there are no campsites on this lake.

Having never been there, this is a complete stab in the dark - Sundassa?

Just to rule out a few small lakes with no campsites, Is the picture taken on a marked canoe route?

So how the heck did you get in there? Up the creek from the Nip?
And why the bushwhack off any signed route? There should be a decent story here. :-)

I've been to Hiah, Loontail, Creation, Browse, Coldspring, and Kennedy. Just because they are there and it's fun to explore. It takes some determination. For the most part I don't bushwhack along creeks. It's easier to go through mature hardwood forest before the leaves are out.

Going off the beaten trail is where the real adventures begin - give it a go sometime!
