Re: WIA #405

Hmm. Not sure but I see some badges of honor on the canoe. Pinetree, Shirley, Erables, Maple...cool

Re: WIA #405

Reminds me of a section from Mole to Raja that I will not travel again... Not even for double the amount of perch >_<

Re: WIA #405

It is a creek, but it is not named after me.

Not Sundassa or Mole/Raja portages.

First clue - North of the Petawawa River, yes all of it. Can't see this as a super busy area of the park.

Re: WIA #405

Been a while since I was last up there - but kinda reminds me of Brain creek.

Re: WIA #405

Zemantics - I thought the same thing briefly, but then realized that the photo is picturesque, whereas the portage from Mole to Raja resembles what I imagine Dante's Sixth Circle of Hell looks like.

After I fell a few times in the mud with my backpack, stepped over more deadfalls than I thought possible, and lost the trail completely, my desire to see what Raja looked like was waning.  When I thought of repeating that trudge with a canoe on my head I decided that Raja could do without me and gave up on it.  Then I fell a couple more times on the way back to the boat.

Good times....gooood times.......

That is what I was thinking as well. Maybe the 25 metre port along Brain Creek?

Re: WIA #405

Thought the clue was too good. You've got the area, but not the correct portage.

Re: WIA #405

Nope, not the 215.

That doesn't leave much. Who wants the win? Or should we give it to Peek again?
