WIA392

I don't think this one will be very difficult, but we'll see.

Where is that flag tree?

Re: WIA392

I'll guess the Crow River.  I know it's wrong but feel obligated now.

Re: WIA392

I guess we need a clue.  But I haven't decided how I'm going to do clues for this one.  So let me just ask: Why do you think it's a river?

The 'channel' between Grand L / Stratton L?

Re: WIA392

I'd probably refer to that "channel" as the Barron River, but regardless, not there.
The Crow River is the closest guess so far.

Crotch Lake?

Re: WIA392

Not Crotch.
Crow River is still closer.  So if the Crotch Lake guess was just the first step in a binary search, it worked.

Re: WIA392

Booth on the way to Mole? I guess this would be called McCarthy's Cr.

Re: WIA392

Not McCarthy's Creek.
Tim Lake is closer than Crotch Lake.

A sunrise on Narrowbag Lake?

Re: WIA392

Good guess but not Narrowbag.  The view is to the west.

Re: WIA392

My apologies for derailing the direction.  My river guess was a tongue-in-cheek homage to the prior WIA.  It is quite clearly, in my opinion, NOT a river but appears to be a lake shoreline.

The flag tree looks familiar.  I've only done one northern route.  I'll guess big old Cedar Lake.

Re: WIA392

The flag tree hasn't been located yet.  But it is situated just a little less than 12 km from the closest access point.
