That clue was too easy RC! Yes, it's Polly Lake, looking back across it from the portage to Linda Lake.
The 2.6 kilometer portage that gets you there from Canisbay Lake is definitely long.
As a side-note from back in 2004, the portage was shared in part with the first loop of the Minnesing Bike Trail. On the in-going hike I was nearly nailed by a high-speed mountain bike. And the return hike was actually partly "in-water" as the previous night's rain storm had a creek running right down the portage path! I don't think I'll ever forget that trip!
Thread StarterThought that island looked familiar. Spent a night on that campsite in the distance a few summers back and actually got off on the island to toss a few lines.
