Re: Where in Algonquin 30

Vanishing Pond? or does "named lake" exclude those that are named ponds?

Does not exclude 'ponds' however this is a lake.. Though it's not Vanishing or Blue Jay.. Further south.

Also.. Tripper.. I read your mckaskill cabin spring trip report.. Good stuff man, you've been bookmarked! Glad someone else knew the blow down pain of the trails between round bush and creepy.. I was there 2 months after you guys..

Re: Where in Algonquin 30

Thanks Peek.  The portage from Vireo to Creepy was brutal with blowdowns as well.  It took us 45 minutes to do that portage.
I'll guess end of 375m portage on the Hollow River.

Re: Where in Algonquin 30

Sorry, I meant Roundbush to Vireo.. I lost the trail to Vireo about 2/3rd of the way and didn't feel like bushwhacking in July. It was weird... the trail simply.. vanished.

Not the Hollow River.. Above the Hollow River
