I was able to snag a Eureka CT13 (9X9)" for a $50 discount and couldn't pass it up. I was thinking this would be a substitue during July / skeeter deer fly season, instead of packing in tarps. I'm also on the fence with the extra weight to lug it in. With that in mind, I was thinking about using it for "dual purpose", not only day/evening use but also using it as my sleeping shelter instead of brining my solo tent (saving packing space and weight as well). Does anyone on the forum have the Bugzone in your inventory that you use for camping? And if so, do you think it might work for me as a dual-purpose solo tent, thereby, saving the weight leaving my solo tent home as well? Thanks for all of your feedback!

Yeah, It was always a great time having conversations with Jake in prior years and I agree he would be a great author for a book on Brent and surrounding area. A great guy who has a wealth of history under his belt fer sure!  Hope he's still doing well.  We have a rental scheduled later this season but sounds like a completely different "hook up" to get the rental.

Lenny, did you get a chance to drop down to the Brent Store? Wondering if Jake is still there and how they are handling canoe rentals.  Hope they weathered all of the Covid crap and are doing well and open for business.

So glad you were able to hook up with your father before he passed.  Hope you are able to work through this difficult time and know how many of us will have you in our hearts and memories as you work through this difficult time.
