This was my very first ice out trip and it did not disappoint. I picked a rather popular part of the park as I wanted to see why it was so popular. During my six day trip I stayed on Rainbow, McIntosh, Misty, White Trout and Sunbeam Lakes.

Great report! Would love to do that route. Agreed about Canoe Lake. Curious why you didn't take highway 60 if you were coming from Ottawa? Are there no charging stations on the way?

There are some level one and two charging stations in Renfrew, and Killaloe, but no level three stations along the way

Nothing other than the Lake Trout on Canoe Lk on my way out but I think thats more of a me being terrible at fishing than there not being fish issue
