Yes, that area of the park is quite beautiful. Visited Hayes two seasons ago (2023) and was surprised to find that the campsite appeared to be well used. Thought the campsite would be a nice place to spend the night. Hayes Lake water was not as clear as other lakes in the area, and the portage sign to Junco was missing, but the start of the portage was easy to find. The actual 1440m portage trail to Junco was sometimes difficult to follow.
