I'm just biased because after freezing up over a week ago, our cottage lake is now pretty much wide open again. That and I'm anxiously waiting for the start of snowmobile season ...

I think we've all been bamboozled with the onslaught of warm weather, I'm certainly not complaining. But since there's no prize at the end, can I change my prediction date? I don't want to ruffle any feathers

I still think we have some good cold weather in store for us, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say April 22.

I was thrilled I was able to reserve a trip in the park before May 12th this year though. Wonder what changed?

I’m in Barrie and I don’t remember a winter like this. Jan 30 and it wouldn’t take much for us to lose the rest of our snow. No real snow in the 14 day forecast either. Kempenfelt bay is still mostly open I think.

Need to decide where I’m going on an April trip before my already booked May trip by the looks of it.
