I'd like some forum-user feedback as to the website's function. This evening, I noticed the website was serving-up an old version of itself. I flushed the web browser's cache and even used multiple browsers and two other PC's to verify the effect was locally widespread.

Please tell me which version of the front page you are receiving .. the 2021 or 2023 version as shown below. It seems "server nodes" are an industry standard these days and they can be cranky in properly "synchronizing" with the main server. I have verified that the main server is synchronized with my hard drive. But it looks like the host's local "node" may not be!

I'd like to know how widespread the "node" problem is. Your help's appreciated.

Earlier yesterday evening, I left my concerns with an "afterhours" contact person at my hosting service. By early this morning, the problem was remedied. Whether by actual intervention or by automatic process, the glitch appears to have been corrected. The internet appears to have become a much more complex entity than in its early days .. weirder and weirder!

Since your location is SW Quebec, maybe your local "node" still hasn't been updated?

Hi Barry,
When I load the front page, the latest update I see is April 26th 2022. If I click on the little "A" beside news and updates, it reloads an up to date page. Hope this helps.

That's good. The updating you experienced was just a cache renewal within your own web browser.
