The 'point' of land in this photo is an island.

The point of land also has a campsite at the end of it.

Lake Lavielle?
If so, I suspect you are on the campsite on the northern most island in the cluster of three (Below the word 'Lavielle' on Jeff's Map), and the campsite in the photo is on the north side of the southern most island in the same cluster (and a beautiful campsite!)

It looks like it could be it, but I've been wrong plenty of times. If it does turn out to be the correct guess @Maseo and I think we have a good one to post!
