Hello. Three of us are planning to canoe the remote NW corner of Algonquin Park in Sep or Oct (2016) (access point #1) for 4 or 5 days. We will go up Tue or Wed after work and canoe until Sunday. My buddy will bring his adult son (28 yrs old), but I need a canoe partner. My usual victims are unavailable this time around. We have canoed here for the last few years and hope to add a few new lakes. We will rent kevlar canoes (for the portages) from Northern Wilderness Outfitters, but have all the other gear we need. Let me know if you have any interest. Thanks, Norm.

What route are you thinking specifically? I may be interested in this trip and can supply a 40lb Swift Prospector canoe.

Hi Token,
What I am looking at is:
Day #1 - Kawayaymog Lake to North Tea Lake (east end island).
Day #2 - NTL to Manitou to Three Mile Lake (south end island).
Day #3 - TML thru the three lakes and into Biggar (west end site).
Day #4 - Biggar thru the lakes into NTL (south arm) and into NTL (west end site).
Day #5 - NTL to Kawayaymog and (likely) exit by noon Sunday.
It is all very tentative at the moment. date, timing, route and participants.....
I would need to confirm my buddy's participation (and his son).
Will advise.
Having difficulty to send private messages.
40lb Swift Prospector sounds perfect.
Thanks
Norm
