I have found that my left elbow is not a big fan of paddling on the left side this summer (snow-shoveling did in tendons on both elbows a couple years ago). Righty does well, lefty nope. I thought I'd try out the Futuro Tennis Elbow Support, and today was the first time I (remembered to take it with me so I) could try it out. I am very pleased to report that it is a product I can recommend. I don't understand why it works, I don't understand how it works, but I was able to paddle for a good couple of hours today with really no discomfort at all in the left elbow. Just wanted to pass this along in case others have issues along these lines.

Thanks for passing this along. I have used the 'Band It' brand brace for tennis elbow and found that this also worked well. I have a cheaper one that is basically a solid strip with tensioner and I would not recommend it. The extra few bucks pay for themselves many times over!
Cheers,

i hear ya. repetitive motion injury. soft tissue scars ,the pain radiates on the out side of my elbow running down the fore arm or upward pain into my neck, when fingers are flexed and when the hand gripes objects..vibration from using power tools is a killer either way no fun.
i have had many cortisone shots in each elbow over the years for tennis elbow and have found the support clasp uncomfortable to wear and keep in place.
try shocking the area back and forth with ice first and heat, keep alternating ice, heat. 10 minutes each. i also use over the counter, voltaren medicinal gel with anti inflammatory properties. just rub on the spot, fairly new product for me.
i also take anti inflammatory tablets if needed, i keep in the first aid kit, but the pills just mask the symptoms. short term gain ,although reduced pain.
the surgeon that i met told me to use the sore elbow as much as i can, involving palm up activities . palms down activities puts stress on the elbow.
also physio therapy exercises (stretches) can be found on line for tennis elbow. i have done`em all. i think really no help, but everyone is different. i hope this helps
