I’m behind on my trip reports. But as of Friday I’m slightly less behind! I just posted my fall 2025 Dividing Lake trip. This was a four day trip that included a two night stay in Little Raccoon, a day trip loop down through Dividing Lake and the Hollow River and a visit to my 400th new lake. It’s available here:

Pretty epic trip report. Lots of ground covered! We often base camp in the spring and do daily fishing loops or out & back trips. Makes it easy to cover ground without the burden of camping gear. We have also stopped to make our big meal in the middle of the day - heat up a soup or dehydrated meal, nap, then fish our way back to camp. The leaves have barely fallen and I'm getting the itch already!
