Traverse as an option that is north of Shirley and it would be more than a day's paddle for me.

Mallic is the closet lake so far. This lake is bigger than Mallic though

EGB is right! I went up to little crooked in May and found out the campsites aren't where they are on the map. Theres 3 sites on the lake now and the northern most one is gone. ( it wouldn't let me link the photo so I attached a link to my map of the campsites)
