    Westerly Campsite at Stacks?

    Is this campsite directly accessible (sans canoe) from the eastern start of the Unicorn Hill portage?

    Yes it's right on the portage trail. It's not the greatest site but passable for a night. I stayed there last spring as we had a late start on cedar because of the wind. Did unicorn hill the next morning..

    Thanks so much for the response! Your scenario is what I was thinking of - the possibility of a later day start from Cedar. Maybe get the Canoe over Unicorn, if time permits, and second trip with the gear in the am.
    Site could always be occupied but I tend to be in the park mid-week/shoulder seasons so it’s good to know it may be an option.
