Many thanks for this article and its information. I checked on some sites that I was interested in for the Perseid meteor shower. Turns out that they will not open this year until October 7th, Ouch!

Nothing like being poised over your keyboard, system time ticking down in the corner, and ready to click at exactly 7:00:00. Funny thing about that was having two computers showing the park's system time being off by tens of seconds between the two. No frustration there eh. Also saw times when the booking opened at 6:55. Insider stuff going on?

Years ago before I retired I worked for a very large organization that had a super fast internet connection. Worked like a charm every time I booked.
