in the last few years i have had 3 ticks on me , back of me neck , walking across my hand and also upper arm , , no bites that i know of .
this year deer hunting was bad according to some of my friends . they found many ticks on them after field dressing a deer ,, even a moose harvested in the Halliburton forest was loaded with ticks .
does anyone else have a tick story to share ?

I went for a hike by myself at Frontenac Provincial Park in September and had a great time, didn't see a tick. I took my wife back in early November and she ended up with three on her, and I had one on me.
God do i hate ticks

3 of my neighbors have Lyme AND Anaplasmosis. I've been bitten 4x but always catch them in time. I've adopted a multiprong approach to minimizing the little buggers, and am hoping the sparse snow cover combined with temps below minus 10 help to take them down a notch here.

Southern QC is crazy. I went woodcock hunting with my Brittany and pulled 37 off of him (not attached, just crawling around). I spray my clothes with Dr Doom Horse Insecticide (0.5% permethrin). I did get bit though after processing a deer even though it had been hanging for 10 days.

I had one this past summer as a result of my outdoor work. I was taking a shower and picked at what felt like a scab on my shoulder blade and pulled off/out a tick that had made its way in. I don't know how long it was on me and I got a couple of horse pill antibiotics from Shoppers to be safe.
