What piece of gear are you hoping/looking to go on sale for black Friday that will upgrade or add to your setup already?
I'm looking at the MSR Pocket Rocket to upgrade my camp stove to something smaller and lighter than what I have and the Biolight Range headlamp to get a rechargeable light to take on trips rather than carrying around extra batteries.

I bought a new headlamp from Altitude Sports in pre Black Friday sales.

I've sent a PM regarding the Pocket Rocket, I've got one that's barely used if you're interested in one used 3-4 times.

Ian, just saw that Sporting Life has the pocket rocket on sale now at $86.
I love my PR. I never worry about it working perfectly, and it packs into my cooking kit along with a small canister of Iso.

Whoa! I think I got mine for like, 40$ a few years ago. Just goes to show how fluid these prices are.
I'm just not a fan of not being able to use a outback oven, and the performance of butane in the cold. Prefer the bulk and weight of a Dragonfly or Whisperlite as a tradeoff for a "better" cooktop.

Love the Pocket Rocket and its rugged plastic case. Been using a Pocket Rocket since 2020. Have had no problems. Most of the time it's used to boil water. Great for rehydrating meals on a rainy day. Personally prefer cooking over a fire, as using the Pocket Rocket with a titanium or even stainless steel pot can make it hard to avoid burning food where the burner touches the pot. Fish fries work fine, though, as long as there’s enough oil in the frying pan.
Not looking at Black Friday sales. Don’t want to be tempted to buy more gear while complaining on the trail that i need to travel lighter.
Cheers!

This is a great idea. My headlamp uses 4 AA batteries. Damn!
