Does anyone else notice that the Ontario Parks website no longer shows the month calendar view for sites availability when booking? I really liked that feature

I didn't see the original (now gone?) calendar, but on a vaguely related note my technical helper (on my bulletin board experiments) recommended I should try Google's on-line "calendar" program. Here's a sample screen -
Notes: yesterday was of course "Group of Seven Day" in Ontario, and many will remember today (July 8) as the anniversary of Tom Thomson's death. The "Council of the Federation" thing happens in Huntsville; I actually had to ask Google what it was about -
When it comes to calendars I am a traditionalist. I *do* make rasterized art, sometimes using vector tools like Corel Draw, but hard copy is definitely my game. A vague sample of a rasterized calender is posted to my pages at
In designing calendars my main interest is functionality. I'm from a time before computers though and I enjoy physical, hang 'em up calendars the most.
It's a bit disappointing to see that FOAP does not actually show the full 2026 calendar, on their web page! Hopefully it has large square for dates, allowing a purchaser to make notes etc.
As far as the government's web pages go I have not investigated whether or not Google's calendar can export nicely to a file that you could print and take with you? I only started working with it a few months ago.
For my own use I have designed a large generic calendar based on Brownline's monthly layouts, that prints nicely and I can scrawl and highlight all over it. I invite correspondence on this topic. Roman Box 771 Station "A" Toronto M5W 1G3

Hey Steve, I noticed this one back in June and sent in an email. It is an improvement! But you just have to wait for it 
Bottom line is they are planning to make another area clickable to bring up the calendar but not yet implemented for backcountry. Here is the relevant snip but if you would be interested in the whole email I am happy to dm it, just let me know.
"However, this feature is currently not working for backcountry campsites, which it sounds like you are attempting to access. The Arrival and Departure boxes appear, but they cannot be clicked to launch the calendar. We have flagged this to our reservations service team for their review and awareness; they are working on it currently."
