Still a no for me - received 2 email notifications of messages from swedish pimple, but, alas, nothing new in my Inbox.

Barry these problems seem to be beyond your I.T. skills and no shame there. My it skills died when windows was upgraded from version 3.1
Have you thought to reach out to the membership here and see if anyone would be willing to donate a little of thier time to help solve this?
Perhaps offering some in kind advertisement on this site in return for a little support help.
I know this is a longshot but thought I would throw the idea out there.

All I can recommend is to login, click on "Inbox", scroll to the bottom right corner, click on "Private Message Settings" and then make sure "Allow private messages" is positive and submitted.
