Construction of a New Interpretive Hiking Trail in Algonquin Park

https://www.algonquinpark.on.ca/news/new_trail.php

Where is this new trail?
To protect both Algonquin Park’s natural and cultural history the location of this new interpretive trail has not yet been announced. Staff and volunteers with The Friends of Algonquin Park are currently working hard to ensure the correct measures are in place to protect any sensitive sites before the location is revealed. More details about this new exciting interpretive trail will be shared in upcoming weeks, stay updated by watching this webpage, following us on social media, or subscribing to our eNews updates.

Any guesses where the new trail will be? My guess (hope) is:

- Start at Costello Creek Lookout Trail
- North through Opeongo Point Station to Cameron Lake
- Boardwalk through bog
- Return

Sounds exciting!!!
Now that I'm old and half-crippled I really appreciate the front country trails. Adding a new one is great news!!
I look forward to being one of the early hikers on this new trail.

Although not against another interpretive trail my hope would be the trail head and parking are off an access road somewhere  along 60 and not directly adjacent to 60. May help alleviate traffic and parking issues for the already busy highway.  Especially if brand new , it will be a popular spot for sure. IMO.
