I've been there a few times but that isn't the place.

I used to do trips starting on the west side of the park when my friend Glenn lived in Huntsville.   I live in Ottawa and haven't been in that area of the park in quite a few years.  The location is quite a bit further east.

Re: WIA 646

Hey, Yellowcanoe, I have no idea where the photo was taken but if you are who I think you are, we had a fun trip with Glenn and my dog Mica back in the day. Started at Kiosk, looped around though Manitou, Three Mile, Maple, Erables, Big Thunder, Club, Waterclear, etc in three days. That was a lot of portaging over a three-day trip. Hope you are well.

Yes, I certainly remember that trip!   We haven't seen Glenn and Elly since 2019 but I think there is a good chance we'll get out to see them next year.  The canoe trips are certainly getting more challenging now that I am now in my 60's.

Shot in the dark, maybe the west side of Bonnechere and I just can't figure out the POV.

The lake in the photo is north of highway 60.
