Sec Lake

I got one final paddle in at the start of November. With the temperatures expected to be in the mid teens that first weekend, I convinced a buddy to drive up to Sec Lake with me for a day trip. It was an absolutely gorgeous day, and well worth the four hour round trip from Ottawa. I've got a write up here if you want to hear my thoughts on Log Canoe Lake and the overly ambitious beavers who live there.

Re: Sec Lake

Congratulations on making good use of the warm weather. Quite the exploration.

And congratulations on adding the "Thunderbox" newsletter to your website! ...

Re: Sec Lake

Thanks Barry!

It was a fun day. Really nice area to explore without needing too much time.

And thanks for The Thunderbox shout out as well. It’s been fun writing them the last few months. Nice to be able to keep thinking about/writing about the Park even through the offseason.
