    Booth lake

    Hi folks, I’m curious if anyone has been to Booth lake area recently and can confirm this “Low water levels are being reported in the Opeongo River between Booth Lake and Kitty Lake” from the Friends of Algonquin web site.  I have a trip planned in a few weeks so I was checking for advisories and was surprised to see this today.  Any info would greatly be appreciated.  Thx

    I was there the last weekend in August. Low water wasn’t an issue at that time. We were able to paddle the portage from kitty to farm going down river (with a couple of speed bumps along the way)
