Does anyone have insight on the odds of Craig Lake dam being open end of Sept to make Craig Creek Navigable? Also Access Point So3 on Jeff's map? Is there actaully room to park a vehicle there ??

I believe there is a sand pit at So3, if not its where the road starts to the dam. Either way you're good to go.
No idea about the dam, All I know is I hiked that access road a little north of So3 into Craig lake a few years ago and remember looking at the creek thinking how it would be impossible to paddle/wade even in the best of conditions.

Thanks AT. I'll keep this in mind. We're up to the area in July. Maybe I'll do some scouting and have a look prior to our trip as well. Never been to this area of the park so looking forward to it .
