WIA 537

Wilderness at its finest...

Looking east along the portage trail which may help narrow down the location a bit.

Not sure if there is guard rail on both sides but this reminds me of the Oxtongue River to Park Lake Crossing. .

Winner winner, chicken dinner! Sorry for the lame shot -- ran outta decent WIA photos!

As a fun side story, this shot was taken in 2020 on a north-south (Kiosk to York River) crossing among friends. We'd just camped on Linda's and were on our way to Louisa for the day when we realized we were outta booze and chocolate (neither of which were really on the essential packing list, but found their way into our nightly rituals inevitably). Passing by Canisbay campground, we figured we'd panhandle a resupply of sorts.

Turns out it takes more than a global pandemic to bust the generousity of others -- ice-cold beers and chocolate bars were the fruits of our labours to see us through another night.

RCSpartan, you're up!
