Portage from Cauliflower Lake along Hay Creek Road which runs along the hydro line. I can't remember what the other end of that portage was.

RobW, that's about right. This is the stretch from Little Cauliflower to Cauliflower. Nice spot for picking blackberries and stepping in bear shit.

I've only been through that area in the winter, but I figured there aren't too many places where a portage follows the hydro line so it was worth a shot.
I'll take a look tonight and see what I can post.

I don't know how popular cauliflower is but for a "panhandle lake", I really liked it. A whole lot of beaver ponds leading up to it and following after it.
