    Uppa - can you hook a backpack on that third arm?  Just a thought.  Could turn Dickson into a destination lake.

    What is your preferred route into Dickson friends? How long is the cart path portage coming from the west (old knees!)

    you can save some hauling ( maybe over 1 km.) by hopping on the cart trail from the east end of wright lake camp site area.the cart trail is just behind the campsite paddle to the spot then  gear up for the cart trail,
           the last 600 m. where the cart trail joins the portage to dickson  is very rough and rocky, and may not be able to use a cart? 
     when are you going,
