So where is this picturesque spot?
I have no idea whether this is obscure or trivial. My overall impression of this area was that while it was not too difficult to reach, it was very rugged.
Since this is obviously on a stream / creek / river, I will be looking for something somewhat more specific than just identifying the stream / creek / river.

Well, it depends upon which way you are going. The location you posted is the one I originally intended to post, but I didn't have a good version that we hadn't published before. Here is "your" rock as approached from upstream.

Our rock, the mystery location, is just a little farther downstream.

Funny Bob I almost posted that pic in my Carcajou lake post.. I guess you would have gotten that one too..

I have to admit that I felt a little guilty about snatching the previous wia away from you so quickly, but when you know the answer, it's hard to keep quiet. Just like all those keeners back in elementary school.
