Things that didn't make the cut... constantly complaining to each other about the weight of our gear portaging, the 30 degree sunshine always beating down on us, the mosquitos that wouldn’t stop biting, or the complete lack of energy to do anything even remotely productive once we got to our campsite for the night. Instead I decided to show the beautiful sunsets, the calm early morning paddles, the gorgeous campsites we stayed at, and the relaxing time spent appreciating the beauty of the backcountry.
Full trip report and campsite reports will be up eventually on my website... just need to find time to get them done.

Nice video and nice detailed view of your J-stroke. Personally I never took a liking to the J-stroke because it felt weird to push the paddle in a way that wan't driving the canoe forward. On the other hand, your technique looks much more clam and elegant than mine.

Thanks - I still prefer the Goon stroke (don't tell anyone) but the J stroke looks prettier for the video
