Was staying on Eustache from July 1-3 and we saw a collection of birds of prey along the cliffs on the north side of the lake. One night we saw 6 of them go into a tree along the cliffs, one by one, with others watching guard. It was really cool.
I surmise based on where they were spotted and active that these were falcons of some kind - could it have been a family of peregrines? They were busy all day going back and forth high across the treetops, I assume hunting, and each night they would all retire back to the same set of cliffs.
