    Looks like a roadbed as opposed to a railroad bed due to the elevation.  Not sure which waterway though...a portage heading downstream on river left...I don't think it's the Crow River.  I'll start by guessing the Nipissing river and then narrow down to a specific portage later.

    Well, on the basis of that reply, my guess is that PaPaddler's discounted suggestion that it is on the Crow River is correct

    Yup!  Thought that clue would give it away LOL!  This is along the Crow R 240m portage from Big Crow L...
