Mushroom in SW Ontario

Hi all,

need some help. Does anyone know what kind of mushroom this is? Found in London Ontario. Will give an old lady the runs for a couple of days if she eats it, but doesn't seem like it caused hallucinations or liver toxicity. sadly the only picture is not the greatest quality...

Cheers!

Re: Mushroom in SW Ontario

Well the short answer is no one should eat a mushroom as nondescript as that! The old lady in question might be lucky to not be in the hospital right now. I’d be surprised if anyone will be able to tell much by that photo...

When you’ve got lethal mushrooms that look like this, there’s a reason every mushroom book around strongly recommends not eating ‘little brown mushrooms.’
