Another good one Matt! Those treats that Iain put together looked amazing. Going to have to try both for the family this summer when we get a chance.

Thanks GordK! Those sweets were a nice treat in the middle of the trip. Try the apple one at home in the oven. A good snack!

The guys had to make up time at some point.  They travel from the west side of Hogan Lake to beautiful Radiant Lake.  They also stop to see some ruins in tonights episode of Mark in the Park at 9pm.

Just got done watching day 6. That was a seriously long day. Really liked seeing the footage of the little Madawaska river as this route has always intrigued me.

dschult2, tell me about it! Long day on its own, plus making a TV show equals everyone completely gassed. You have to get to the Little Madawaska. It's beautiful. Been there twice in both directions and both times didn't disappoint.

Machinery busy day on Radiant Lake! Tonights episode is packed with lots of unexpected surprises. The guys also talk about pyramids, because it's Radiant Lake and all. See you tonight at 9pm in the live chat!

That C-130 flyover was super cool! Do you know if it was based out of camp Petawawa?

Not sure but it came from that way and was heading back that way. There was also a helicopter heading that way too way off in the distance.

The base at Petawawa does not have it's own airstrip, but uses the nearby Pembroke airport (yes, they can accommodate a C-130), so it could indeed have been coming from/going there.

Interesting. Didn’t know that!

Have you been to Big George Lake?  The guys find out why no one has.  See it tonight at 9pm on YouTube.

Honestly, seeing all those overgrown campsites makes me really want to visit that part of the park. Like Mark said, I want to camp here just because no one else has.
