    High water and dead shoreline tree .. hhmmm,

    Long shot: Queer Lake? It has a history of beaver dams and flooded shoreline.

    Barry is correct, Queer Lake it is. I bet your photo is from the same campsite. Shore line was so murky we had to go out to the middle of the lake to pump water.
