    Information on island campsite on LaMuir near portage to Big Trout

    On a lighter note and getting away from coronavirus for a spell, I am looking for any information on the island campsite on LaMuir close to the portage to Big Trout.

    This is where I hope to trip come this May!

    I was there last summer, it looked really tucked away.  Not as great as the on north of it on "land". 

    That site is much more open, and has a lovely beachfront.  Unfortunately, I remember the bugs being really bad on it.

    I've got a vid detailing the sites we went by on LaMuir in my camera pile.  I'll see if I can't get it editted together soonish and post it here.

    Here's a link to what I've got.  Not a lot on the island, but you can see that you'd be missing out on a great view as opposed to other site.  Beautiful lake.
