Hi Folks!
Wondering if there is a set timeframe (ie the season it's posted in) blue-green algae / other interior-posted notifications are valid for? Understand we should ask / review posting board when checking in, however thinking ahead for advance registration / self check in when not going into office anymore...
I ask as I came across this notification when season opened in 2019, so assumed it was outdated (we still took our water from other lakes just in case). If in future I come across such a notification from a prior season - Should I assume this is out dated given date is for different season? Or assume that it's still valid as it's still posted?

Personally, I’d treat a sign like that as valid until told otherwise, regardless of the date. Better to ere on the side of caution. (But, like you said, best thing to do is check the park’s advisory site before leaving on a trip).
