North Cuckoo, Plumb, Hayes

Wondering if anyone has been through the back way from catfish to burntroot.

Planning for early July.  I need 8 more Algonquin lakes to reach 100 for the decade. This way from Cedar to Burntroot and back on the nip would let me celebrate the century. Usually low maintenance in the park are passable by July but I'm not as fit as I used to be so I wanted to check for any comments/advice first.

Re: North Cuckoo, Plumb, Hayes

I have gone this way some years ago, but in the month of May as this is prime trout territory.
The only problems I can see you having in July is ferocious skitters and low water levels on certain areas of the Pet, as well as log jams on certain areas of the Nip.

Congratulation on trying to canoe on 100 lakes.  After you have accomplished this, there’re many more just waiting for you.

Cheers!
