Sandy bottom reminds me of Gilmour however the lake appears too small in this pic to be the case. Gilmour?

From the directions given doesn't seem right, but I saw this same thing on Red Rock L.
Guesses are still far too west. This lake connects with a major park attraction of sorts.

I'm always careful before setting-up my tent that there's no 'dead-head' looming threateningly overhead.
But I confess I've never looked overhead when making a visit to thunderbox!
