    Campsites on little doe

    Can anyone describe to  me, or has pictures of, the campsites near the 1140 m portage out of little doe? We are spending a few days on little doe, have never been there,and are looking for a site with afternoon and evening sun if at all possible. We ll be tripping in September.

    From what I recall, the site in the peninsula at the north end should fit the bill.

    But being close to canoe, the crowds may limit your choices.

    Thanks keg,thats helpful. We are aware that it can be busy, but we are going after school starts so hopefully we’ll find something nice.

    Don't count on it. there are a lot of groups in the park in September, and they seem to somehow monopolize the best site on Little Doe (the high rocky plateau) for weeks on end.
