Hey all, I had a few hours to spare while visiting my in-laws a couple weeks back so I went up to the Rain Lake access and paddled over to Islet to test out my new hammock. The bugs were pretty happy to see me, but I still managed to find a nice spot to string up my hammock and do nothing for a couple of hours.
In other news, anyone got any tips for getting bear spray out of a backpack?

I keep wanting to go to Islet for the island site, but I know never to do a trip with hopes of getting one specific campsite, so I haven't taken the risk yet. It looks beautiful though... I'll probably end up doing it as a last-minute fall trip when there are no other reservations on the lake or something.
