    South River portage

    Anyone have any comments about the south River portage south of namha lake other than the culvert comment on Jeff's maps?  I'd like to do a loop including nipissing-cedar-kiosk-manitou but that depends on how passable the 3600m portage is.

    Any info would be appreciated.

    It's actually a pretty nice portage. The whole length is basically flat, if memory serves. Some pretty nice scenery along the way.
